“Learning to love and be kind to ourselves is a lifelong journey”. -Brene Brown

Hi! I am so glad you’re here. I want to say, congratulations: you have taken the first step. Seeking therapy isn't always easy—it takes courage to acknowledge that things may not feel great and to take that first step towards healing and change. I'm here to walk that path with you, whatever that may look like. My approach is client-centered, which means I deeply value and respect your unique experiences, values, and goals.

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental, and friendly atmosphere. I strive to foster a therapeutic alliance based on trust, empathy, and collaboration. My therapeutic approach encourages clients to actively participate in their healing journey through open feedback and conversation: what may work for one might not work for others, and that is totally okay! Together, we can create a space where you can explore your emotions, confront challenges, and uncover the strengths that will guide us towards positive outcomes. Outside of my clinical work, I'm dedicated to ongoing learning and staying current on the latest advancements in therapy through research. My goal is to provide you with effective, evidence-based techniques that can lead to meaningful and lasting change.

I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University and have primarily worked with individuals and intimate partnerships. My background is rooted in systemic thinking: we do not exist within a vacuum, for we are constantly changing through the context of our relationships and social systems in which we are involved in. With this holistic and integrative approach, I believe deeply in the power of relationships. They're not just a part of our lives; they shape who we are and how we experience the world. Human connection is fundamental to our mental well-being. It's through our relationships that we find support, validation, and a sense of belonging. Therapy can provide a space to explore how these systems impact our everyday lives. I tailor theories and models specifically to each client system, and draw influence from humanistic therapies.

If you're ready to take that important step towards healing, I'm here to support you! As a team, we can embark on a journey of growth, understanding, and transformation. You aren’t alone. Feel free to contact me via phone or email and we can get started!
