Life can become complicated and overwhelming, and I believe that therapy is a means of better understanding your situation. As you move forward in life, you will face challenges that you just can’t figure out on your own, and it’s okay to need a little help. Sometimes, you may find yourself not having anyone who understands. It is my desire to be an active listener and support you in overcoming the obstacles that you face. I believe in empowering, uplifting, encouraging, building transparency, and being a support system for those in need. My hope is that the warmth and comfort of my demeanor and personality will make discussing your thoughts and feelings with me easier.

My goal is to help educate and collaborate with individuals in their various family dynamics to help find solutions to their problems. It is my passion to assist couples and individuals with achieving their desired goals of leading happy, healthy, and well-functioning lives. My areas of expertise when working with couples are communication, finances, parenting skills, strengthening relationships, and assistance with exploring the division of domestic labor. As it relates to individuals, I assist in processing through childhood traumas and the impact that it has on their lives as adults. I also assist individuals as they work through anxiety and depression while offering a listening ear and personal validation as they progress through their life changes. Together, we can explore new ways to communicate and navigate life’s circumstances.

I have served in many roles as an educator, family support worker, parent educator, educational tutor, and now as a therapist. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. I am excited about working with you and helping you with your goals. Together, we can write a new success story.
